Local Area
Garfield House is situated in Islington, which is a central urban borough in North Central London.  Camden Lock market is nearby and only two stations away by Underground.  Once at Camden Lock, there are Canal Walks and boat rides to Little Venice.  The Walk will guide you through both Regents Park and London Zoo.  If it's pleasant strolls through the park that you're after, you can try Parliament Hill Fields and Hampstead Heath.

Restaurants
Whatever style of food you prefer, you're sure to find a restaurant catering for your taste in Tufnell Park.  Indian, Chinese, Ethiopian, Italian, Greek, plus plenty of plain old English cafés.

Shopping
You'll find everything you need, from hardware to software, Tupperware to Wedding Wear, along the shopping capital of Britain, Oxford Street.  That is, if you do need to leave Islington, with their own array of shops.

London Centre
An exciting and cultural world exists within London.  Trafalgar Square and Big Ben, along with the Parliament Buildings, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace are all landmarks worth a visit.  At Leicester Square you will find a host of entertainment - watch for the Movie Premieres when the Stars come out.  The Thames Water Front is also worth a visit with The Eye;  The Globe Theatre;  The Millennium Bridge;  Tate Modern;  And all the markets and cafés.
